Pay Your Sadaqa-e-Fitr on Time

Giving Sadaqa-e-Fitr (also referred to as Zakatul Fitr or Fitrana) for the day of Eid
was a practice of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and has been ordained for us all.
Like Zakat, it establishes the bonds of unity between the rich and poor.

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ declared the payment of Sadaqa-e-Fitr as obligatory;
it purifies the fasting person from any indecent act or speech,
and is a source of feeding the poor.’
[Abu Dawud]

​

Every person eligible to pay any of these amounts must pay not only for himself
but also for his dependants, such as his children.
If a person wishes to give more, then he can do so inshaAllah.

Mercy to the World will ensure your Sadaqa-e-Fitr reaches those in need
before Eid day and will distribute it to the poor - InshaAllah.

 

Insha'Allah, once the funds are collected, the Project Feedback
will be shared with all donors via the website.
