Assalamualaykum, my name is Hawa
and I am fundraising on behalf of Mercy to the World charity.
I am raising funds to provide
Ramadan Food Packs for £25 each
for the most in need in living in the rural areas of West Bengal, India.
The poor families living in poverty-stricken villages live well below the poverty line.
Often, they don’t know when their next meal is.
Ramadan Food Pack will include:
25kg Rice, 1kg Daal, 1 Litre Vegetable Oil, 1 Litre
Mustard Oil, 1kg Onions, 1kg Potatoes, 1kg Khajoor, 1kg Chana,
1kg, Puffed Rice, 1kg Gram Flour, 1kg Tea and 1 kg Sugar
Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has said:
“Whoever feeds a person breaking his fast will earn the
same reward as him, without anything being lessened
from the reward of the fasting person”.
