Mercy to the World launched an appeal back in Ramadan 2024 to fundraise for an extension to a Darul Uloom in West Bengal, India, supporting students (mainly orphans) in completing their final-year Bukhari and Mishkat studies and continuing their journey to becoming Aalims.

Alhamdulillah, through the generous support of donors of Mercy to the World, this appeal has now been completed.

InshaAllah, the new facilities will provide dedicated spaces for students to complete their final-year Bukhari and Mishkat classes to become Aalims, alongside opportunities to qualify as Qaris and Muftis, as well as an Assembly Hall and dining facilities.

In honour of the 313 Sahabah of the Battle of Badr, 313 bricks will be cemented in their memory.
